   Responsibilities

  • Be able to adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly reports and work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
  • Submitsorders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge; review professional publications; establish personal networks; participating in professional societies. 

 

Sales engineers sell complex scientific and technological products or services to businesses. They must have extensive knowledge of the products’ parts and functions and must understand the scientific processes that make these products work.

The Description

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
  • Obtain and help implement market knowledge on new products and sales channels.
  • Input and track all sales communications within the CRM.
  • Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
  • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirement.

  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Plans and modify products to meet customers needs.
  • Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
  • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirement.
  • Develop, design, test and introduce existing or new products in conjunction with engineering, R&D and manufacturing/operations for industrial filters and cartridges. 
  • Develop strategies for new product launches by developing pricing strategies and design marketing campaigns.
